Coronavirus - What you need to know about the salon
In line with Government regulations, the following precautions and plans have been put in place for your protection:
As a beauty therapist it is obviously impossible to practise social distancing, but I still want you to be reassured about the measures I have in place to ensure your safety and well being:
The use of towels and blankets will be kept to an absolute minimum, and are washed regularly at high temperature
Disposable paper roll will continue to be used to protect surfaces
All hard surfaces will be wiped down with anti-bacterial spray between clients to maintain hygiene
Disposable instruments and tools will be used where possible. Where this is not possible tools are sterilised regularly.
I will be wearing gloves and a mask
What I will be asking of you:
Wash hands thoroughly on arrival
Wear a mask as we are unable to maintain a 2 metre distance
Keep the items you bring with you to a minimum, preferably in a handbag
Please keep to your appointment times - regrettably I cannot offer a waiting area, where there is a risk you may crossover with another client. If you are early please wait in your car, until your appointment time.
Contact me as soon as possible if you are going to be late - whilst there will be bigger than usual gaps between clients, again, I want to reduce the chance of crossover
Important to note:
Despite the steps I am taking, inevitably, there is still some risk. By choosing to have treatment you have accepted that you are prepared to take that risk.
Please do not come to the salon if:
You are experiencing any Coronavirus symptoms such as new and persistent dry cough, loss of taste or smell, an elevated temperature or a shortness of breath. If you, or a member of your household, has any symptoms, please follow the Government guidelines and isolate.
You are in one of the Government mandated shielding or vulnerable groups
If you would like any further information or reassurance, or would like to book an appointment, please reach out - Iām happy to talk everything through.
