Reawakening: Mind, Body and Soul
With lockdown restrictions easing, it really does feel like everything is reawakening now. I feel like I have a real bounce in my step - just like a Spring lamb!
If you're still struggling a bit, do remember to be kind to yourself. We have suffered so much in the last year, it will take time to put everything back together again. But how about a little help in reawakening you?
Here are some tips:
Stop hibernating - if you've been in hibernation mode for the last few months it's time to wake up! Get out and enjoy some fresh air, start moving your body and enjoy the joys of Spring
Healthy eating - now is the perfect time to move from warming casseroles to lighter, healthy foods. There are lots of delicious fruits and vegetables in season, and is that the barbecue I can hear calling?
Vitamin C - it was actually National Vitamin C Day on 4 April - yes, really that is a thing! And whilst it might seem weird, I really want you to embrace the fab properties of Vit C. Not only is it great for your immune system (yep, fruit and veggies again!), it's also fab for your skin. It brightens the skin's appearance, helps encourage collagen renewal and can support the reduction of inflammation. Check out my special offer too.

Don't forget hands and feet - remove any hard skin, push back cuticles and get moisturising at the very least. Or you could book in for a cheeky mani and pedi!
Spring clean your makeup bag - have a good sort out, throw out any very old makeup lurking at the bottom, re-evaluate if all of your cosmetics are still working for you - remember our skin and colouring changes as we grow older. Could be the perfect chance for a treat? And don't forget to clean all of your makeup brushes too.
Mind and soul - don't ever underestimate how vital it is to look after yourself. No matter how stressed or busy you are, taking a few minutes out to put your face to the sun (literally or metaphorically!), does wonders for you. Do what you love - read, dance around the kitchen, listen to music, get out in the garden... give yourself permission to put you first. And, that's the most important tip for reawakening you ready to enjoy a great rest of 2021.
